1. Scope of Services
All Browed Out provides paramedical micropigmentation services, including but not limited to areola tattoo restoration, scar/stretch mark camouflage, inkless scar/stretch mark revision, microneedling, 3d belly button restoration, permanent makeup brow services, and saline tattoo removal.
All services are cosmetic in nature and are not medical treatment, diagnosis, or cure.
2. Client Eligibility
Clients must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Complete a consultation and intake form
- Disclose all relevant medical conditions, medications, supplements and skin concerns
- Confirm they are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- Confirm they are not currently under the care of a Physician for cancer or autoimmune disorders or have been diagnosed positive for HIV or any other blood-borne virus.
- Obtain medical clearance when required
All Browed Out reserves the right to decline or postpone service if a procedure is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
3. Consultation Requirement
A consultation is required prior to any paramedical procedure.
This ensures suitability, proper expectations, and individualized treatment planning.
4. Results Disclaimer
Results vary depending on:
- Skin type and condition
- Scar/stretch mark age and depth
- Medical history (including medications and predisposition to hyper-pigmentation/hypo-pigmentation)
- Healing response
- Lifestyle and aftercare compliance (included but not limited to active ingredients in regular skin care).
No guarantees are made regarding:
- Final appearance
- Pigment retention
- Colour changes over time
- Longevity
- Number of sessions required
- Final resting place of tattoo
5. Payments & Fees
- While currently no booking fees are required, a deposit may be required at the discretion of All Browed Out in the event this is taken advantage of.
- Any required deposits are non-refundable but would be applied to the cost of the service
- Full payment is due at the time of service
- Prices are subject to change
Pro bono services (e.g., areola restoration) are offered at the discretion of All Browed Out and are not guaranteed.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments
- Late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of any deposit or additional charges
- Repeated missed appointments may result in refusal of future bookings
7. Health & Safety Standards
All Browed Out follows strict infection control and sanitation standards, including:
- Single-use sterile needles
- Disposable supplies
- Industry standard sterile inks
- Blood-borne Pathogens certification
- Health-board compliant practices
Clients must arrive in good health and disclose any changes prior to treatment.
8. Contraindications
Services cannot be performed on clients with:
- Active infections, open wounds, or skin conditions in the treatment area
- Uncontrolled diabetes, heart conditions or autoimmune disorders
- Communicable blood-borne virus whether in remission or not
- Recent laser treatments, chemical peels, injected fillers or neurotoxin (e.g.:, Botox) at the treatment site, chemotherapy or radiation
- Known keloid scarring tendencies (case-by-case)
9. Photography & Documentation
Before-and-after photos are required for:
- Documentation as required by law and for insurance purposes
- Assessment
- Educational purposes for informing future clients
- Updating of social media/advertising purposes assuming the release for same has been signed
10. Touch-Ups & Additional Sessions
Paramedical micropigmentation often requires multiple sessions.
Each session is billed separately unless otherwise specified.
11. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of paramedical tattooing:
- All services are final
- No refunds are issued once a procedure has been performed
12. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate medical information
- Follow all pre-care and aftercare instructions
- Communicate concerns promptly during healing
- Understand that non-compliance may affect results
- Provide clear photos of the treated area as it heals if requested
- Provide clear photos of the healed area for All Browed Out to determine if further touch up is required
13. Assumption of Risk & Liability
Clients acknowledge that paramedical tattooing carries inherent risks, including:
- Infection
- Allergic reaction (a test patch may be required in advance of the service for an additional fee that would be applied to the cost of the service)
- Pigment migration or fading
- Colour changes
- Symmetry changes that could occur with muscle imbalances or scar contractures, or as a result of future surgical alterations and neurotoxin or filler injections
- Need for additional corrective work
By booking services, clients accept these risks.
14. Right to Refuse Service
All Browed Out reserves the right to refuse service for reasons including:
- Medical contraindications
- Unrealistic expectations
- Safety concerns
- Inappropriate or aggressive behaviour
- Failure to adhere to pre-care instructions or Client arrives clearly ill (appointment may need to be rescheduled at All Browed Out's discretion)
15. Acceptance of Terms
Booking or receiving services constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service.
